Two Lines Between Us

Directed by Catarina Hebbard

Two couples’ lives collide under one roof as one struggles with infertility and the other falls pregnant unexpectedly. Inspired by lived experience, this play is about love, family and what happens when life plays favourites.

Some people try for years. Others just get lucky.

Millie and Mike are pinning their hopes on their latest IVF round when Millie’s younger sister Brit crashes back into their lives…pregnant and unpredictable, with her boyfriend Kyle in tow.

When the two couples must share a home, old tensions resurface as Brit gets everything Millie desperately wants. But when the baby arrives, it’s not just the sisters who are tested. Kyle, the one who seemed ready for anything, begins to unravel.

Exploring themes of infertility, endometriosis and paternal mental health, Two Lines Between Us is about love, family and what happens when life plays favourites.

Grounded in lived experience, it reveals the impact of hidden disability on the path to parenthood. Don’t miss this powerful new work from award-winning inclusive theatre company, indelarts.
