Productions:
Creating a new indelarts production takes substantial resources. From early development through to touring, every stage requires significant investment to ensure artists are paid fairly, accessibility is prioritised, and each production is delivered to the highest standard.
As Queensland’s leading professional accessible theatre company, we are committed to ethical pay for our artists, creatives and production teams, including performers, directors, designers and stage managers.
Accessibility is at the heart of everything we create, with services such as Auslan interpretation, audio description, captioning, relaxed performances and tailored audience support helping to ensure theatre truly is for everyone.
Touring productions also involves extensive planning and coordination, including travel, accommodation, freight and logistics, allowing us to bring authentic and inclusive storytelling to communities beyond metropolitan centres.
Behind every production are countless resources working together, from set and costume creation to technical equipment, venue hire, marketing, insurance and administration. Every contribution helps bring powerful stories to life and creates meaningful opportunities for connection, representation and impact.
Workshops:
indelabilityarts employs professional performing arts specialists to lead our workshop program across three locations.
Covering Theatre, Musical Theatre and Film Making these workshops give an opportunity to community members and aspiring artists to experience the performing arts in an accessible, supporting and community focussed space.
These workshops can also be the springboard for artists looking for a way to start their performing arts journey outside of traditional formal education programs. Many programs do not have the level of accessibility support required to make some community members feel welcome and accepted.
Our workshops are supported with in kind venue hire from venues like Redland Performing Arts Centre, and the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba.
The Average cost of running our workshops program is $18 500 year.
